Talking about press. Has anyone seen the latest nab fp in todays papers.
I don't know the clems guys. I don't know james mcgrath. but i sure know this is not the sort of stuff they'd do. Its as if the nab's been taken over by another one of those 2nd rate graphic designers masquerading as 'brand consultant'. Its total crap. How is anyone supposed to read it let alone warm to it. Whose stupid idea was it to get rid of caps? The whole thing reeks of the client insisting the agency follow some stupid visual id rules they've bought into before they spoke to the people who have to use them - the agency. This ad wasn't done by clems, it was done by the bank and it shows. And just to show how dumb the bank is they've probably paid clems to put it together for them. take the money boys. its the least you deserve.

I'm not too sure about the random nab rant above, but I just wanted to say that it's pretty cool that Jeff Goodby is delivering a speech at the Caxtons. Maybe there's some political angle with CBA or something. Either way, he's a very impressive guy who would be very interesting to listen to. If I had a finalist in this year's show, I might have swung by.

Ok ok anonymous we get it....you didn't do the ad, the client made you do the direction. Maybe next time you should start of saying "Hey i know this guy and he did this ad..."

On Goodby, yeah good move, always nice to have an international feel every now & then which also frrks off the "boyz club" mates of mates judging.

I agree. Jeff Goodby is a true ad legend. I'm really looking forward to hearing the bloke talk. As for the ponytail, I think he should do the decent thing and auction it off for charity. How about it Jeff?

Heard Carasco lecture last year, really inspirational. And Goodby sounds amazing. Wish it wasn't so bloody expensive. We aren't all on senior salaries yet.

Actually, the cost has gone down since last year.

Good news on Goodby.
