If Talking Boony wins, he should give his Sydney to London record another nudge.
Boony. Legend. Legend. Dead Set Legend.

Titanium at Cannes for sure. Might even eclipse The Big Ad in terms of Lions. Truly original idea, brilliantly executed.

ok, for you non-alcoholic beverage drinkers.

The boony (as pictured above) is called a doll. But I prefer to think of it as a minature statue. You place this little fella near the tv when you're watching cricket and boony yells out random little saying. Encouragements you might call them. All in all you drink a lot of piss and come to like boony a lot more.

shock horror. I left out an 's' at the end of one of my words - rendering it singular! I'll never become the copywriter I've always dreamed of being. Looks like I'm in the market for a poofreader.

I've got one and during the summer cricket season, he was programmed to tell you when the cricket was about to start. He also said unintelligible comments during the game (things like "What a shot!" - I think). During the match, invariably the VB Boony commercial would come on, which made the whole day a VB experience. He's still by the telly - I only hope he comes to life next summer.

I'd like to know if this was a Patts promotive idea, or was a promotive company the guys that went to Patts with a cool new gadget from Japan. I'm not slinging off at Patts, I rekon it's one of the best promotions around. I just want to know who or how they connected a beer promotion on TV about the cricket to an interactive TV doll.

BTW if it gets a silver nomination, I want to see Boony go to D&AD himself to collect the award and try to beat his previous award winning effort on the way. No there's a VB ambient idea.
